Someone has touched my life in a way words can never measure.
Someone has shown me more joy then I ever thought humanly possibe.
Someone has brought the smiles to my face when they seemed impossible to find again.
Someone is Joel, and he is my son. Joel is many things, he is smart, he is energetic, he is happy, he is a son, he is a brother he is a grandson, he is also autistic, but first, foremost and always he is Joel.

Autistic is not who my son is, but rather autism is only a part of my son.
Do not pity the autisic, do not pity the parent or loved one of an autistic. Envy them for having their lives touched by someone so special that they can barely comprehend the feeling.

Want Joel's Newest bear? Read on ...
I am in the process of building this site. Joel's bears were originally offered at http://www.fluffytuff.com/ASpage.html. That page now redirects to this site. All previous bears adopted from there should now have their links changed to link to this site lovingjoel.com . I will be of course offering all of Joel's previous bears as well as all new images. This site will expand past the simple page I made foe him previously. However it will take me little bit to get it all going. For now and as in tradition, in celebration os April being Autism Awareness Month I will offer the latest bear here. If you would like to have the newest bear, please save him to your own computer and link him back to http://lovingjoel.com and not the old site.
